Our board is 100% volunteer with Lyle’s oldest daughter as our president and founder. We are comprised of moms, dads, aunts, and uncles. Among us we have 10 children, from toddlers to tweens. We have lived all over the world, and currently live in multiple states across the US. We are healthcare workers and mathematicians; engineers and stay-at-home moms; musicians and small business owners.
We are inspired by Lyle’s words as well as his actions. We see our children in the faces of the children we help, and we understand how critical food is for children, in order that they can grow, learn, and play. We believe children should not miss meals simply because school is out and we believe we all need some help sometimes. We believe that we are at our best when we come together to help one another and we believe that together, we can make a difference.
